Hi Caroline,Thank you for seeing me to teach me TRE and for giving me massage treatments. I decided to come see you after seeing your website as I was wanting to learn TRE but needed someone who had an understanding of stress, burnout, trauma and could work with the body holistically.I found that your warm and gentle nature made it easy for me to feel comfortable to learn TRE and have my body worked on with the massage. The explanations that you provided me of how to do TRE and why it would be helpful were easy to understand and made sense.After doing TRE with you or receiving a massage this made feel relaxed and I could feel that tension and stress had released.The flexibility of the service that you provide in being able to decide the type of treatment provided on the day of the appointment was very helpful and met my needs. Like most people I have stress in my life with adrenal stress being something that keeps cropping up. After many months of procrastination I finally attended a workshop last Saturday on how to use TRE. With Caroline’s personal experience plus her knowledge and passion I have found TRE easy to learn and most of all easy to remember. Most of all I enjoy that I can easily fit TRE into my busy daily schedule and I’m already feeling the benefits. (Donna)

I had to retire from the Police due to PTSD and life’s been challenging. TRE was simple to learn and integrate into my routine. I do need to get into the habit of using it more often because I can feel the benefits. I get a bit lazy and then I do it and notice the way it helps me think more clearly, feel more relaxed and slow down my racing mind and desire to always be on the go. I thank Caroline for her great introduction to something that I can now do by myself. So great just being able to take action instead of talking about the trauma. (Brad)
My family and I Iived through a traumatic upbringing and it has had a toll on all of us. TRE has changed my life. I am no longer frightened to just be present with my body, to do some gentle tremoring, follow my breathing and notice the way the stress unravels from my muscles. I started using TRE a few times per week, as recommend by Caroline when I first learnt it. Now I do it most days after activities. I find doing it after gym or after yoga works well for me. I only need to do about 5-10 minutes and this has been enough for my body to keep the stess levels down. I know when I haven’t done it for awhile because the muscles start tightening up again and I fell less patient. I also sleep a lot better but that took about 6 months to improve. Some things changed quickly (improved back and hip pain) and other things took longer (levels of frustration and headaches). I taught my husband and we sometimes just chill out in front of TV and have a bit of tremor. (Oenone)
I work in a stressful job and was keen to learn how to discharge some of the physical and emotion stress I carry by helping others who are living with trauma. I don’t want to end up with Vicarious Trauma and unable to work or function properly . I have a great supervisor and family but sometimes it nice to just let go of stuff without talking about it. TRE is great. I can do it whenever I want and wherever I want. (Lisa)

I don’t need to know how it works, it just does and I feel great. I used to tremor a few years ago at school and my teachers and parents would stop me. Now I know it’s natural and tremoring is good for me – so I do it when I want to and just stop it if I don’t want others to see me. I think it is great for teenagers because we are going through lots of changes. So I can let my legs tremor under a table or after exercise and know that it’s going to help me concentrate and feel more relaxed and calm. Thanks for teaching me Caroline. (Lani)
It was a bit freaky letting my body do its tremoring and not having any control over it. I kept thinking, am I doing this or is it doing it to me. But I started just watching it and doing what Caroline said not judging it and then it was really cool. I don’t usually notice the tension in me until I feel like exploding. But that’s changing now. I kind of notice things more and breathe better and just feel like I’ve got more control. (Aaron)
Wish I had learned this years ago. I look forward to ‘playing with it’ (TRE) and working out the best times to use it in my life. I can see that’s the key – using it and noticing when I need it. I just have general stress but my wife has Trauma and she is loving how it helps her manage her condition. What a great discovery. (William and Edith)
Caroline you have a lovely manner for working with groups. Your instructions are clear and you show empathy and insight into what it is like for those of us feeling a bit vulnerable and a tad weird about the whole experience. I appreciated your support and encouragement and for helping me to “trust the process”which is something I usually don’t do well. I am on my way now. (Teresa)
I knew I couldn’t do a workshop but since learning privately with you I have had the opportunity to review it with you and a small group. Now I am ready to do it in a workshop – because I seem to do it (tremor) better when you have guided me than when I do it at home alone. TRE is pretty amazing – when you think our bodies naturally want to do it and we are conditioned to not look weak by tremmoring in public and stop ourselves. I’m going to tremor whenever it emerges. thanks for helping me come to my senses. I love the way it makes me feel. (Carly)
